The Card Series brings Shoob's anime trading card game to life with a collection of full-art digital cards built for display on Shoob.gg. Each illustration maintains a mix between vibrant character art and simple, intuitive layouts, allowing players to easily claim, trade, fuse, and sell cards within Shoob's secure economy. The series improves engagement and supports Shoob's community-driven anime TCG experience by combining appealing visuals and easy-to-use features.

The work began with community‑driven research: polls and feedback sessions with Shoob HQ and Sofi.gg users highlighted preferred anime themes, character styles, and event concepts. Concept sketches were converted into precise vector illustrations, then refined to balance striking visuals with clear stat layouts. Throughout multiple release phases, commissioned holiday collections and event drops kept both card libraries fresh and aligned with community interests. Tier S (Exclusive Commission - Shoob HQ): A holiday‑themed “Tier S” collection, unlocked only by Anime Soul members. Each card featured custom frames and unique character art, driving a clear spike in membership renewals. Tier 6 (Premium Freedom - Shoob HQ): Cards offering full creative latitude, custom backgrounds, varied layouts, and occasional animated overlays for community‑voted themes. Tier 5 (Standard Library - Shoob HQ): Core static cards with a uniform frame and strict design parameters, ensuring consistency across the bulk of the card pool.
Standard & Premium Cards (Core Collection – Sofi.gg): A diverse mix of static 2D illustrations, 3D full art cards, and GIF‑animated cards (using consistent static bases), offering dynamic visual flair while maintaining clear stat layouts. Over 300 unique cards were added to both the systems through one-time commissions for clan tournaments, seasonal events, and community driven releases, leading to increased engagement and leaderboard activity and demonstrating a user-centered design approach. By blending community insights with creative flexibility, the work delivered a vibrant, cohesive TCG experience that keeps players coming back for more.
